O Hotel in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental - Hotel Review
After staying for a couple of days in Bacolod Pavillon Resort (read more), we decided to explore other hotels. We wanted to get the most out of our stay in Bacolod, so we thought that it will be great to check out another hotel. We did a quick search online, and it led us to O Hotel. Here in this blog post, I'll be sharing with you our experience as well as some preview of the hotel.
The Location
O Hotel is located in a not-so-prime spot, which means that there are no nearby well-known restaurants or places within a 300 meter radius. However, there is a BDO ATM near the lobby of the hotel just in case you fall short of cash. Also, SM Bacolod and Manokan Country is just a few kilometers away from the hotel,. If you ride a cab, you will just be paying about P60+ from the hotel to the mall.
The Hotel
The hotel may not be as magnificent as you may imagine, but it definitely is modern and well-above decent. The lobby is simple yet dashing with comfy sofa to make you all relaxed as you wait. Temperature is cool as well in the lobby, so if you just want to chill there, it won't be a problem at all.
The Room
The room was surprisingly cozy and comfy. It got this fluffy bed finished off with a snuggly pillows and comforter. If in case you feel like relaxing in the room, the LED TV will keep you company. Also, to add to your convenience and enjoyment, there is a free Wi-Fi for all hotel guests. This particular room that we stayed in is an Executive Room.
There is hot shower available, so you don't need to worry about that. Also, if in case you need to leave some of your valuables inside the room, there is a safety deposit box.
The Breakfast
One of the finest things I like here in O Hotel is the inclusion of a breakfast buffet for two (2) provided by Master's Resto, O Hotel's in-house restaurant. It may not be as expansive as the buffets we have in mind but for a provincial hotel, the selections are already fantastic.
The breakfast buffet includes (1) a bread and jam section, (2) a cereal section, (3) a viand section with about 3 varieties, (4) a fruits section and (5) a drinks section.
