Circle S - Great Place to Stay in Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Are you looking for an affordable, yet comfortable and stylish place to stay in the heart of Bangkok? Look no further than Circle S. This cozy and modern apartment is located in the Sukhumvit area, which is known for its vibrant nightlife, shopping and dining options. In this blog post, we will discuss why Circle S is a great place to stay in Bangkok, and probably one of the best accommodation I’ve been to.

Great Location in Heart of Bangkok

Circle S is located in a prime location that gives you easy access to all the attractions that Bangkok has to offer. It is just a short distance from the BTS Asok and Nana stations (both within approximately 750m walking distance), which makes it convenient for you to travel around the city. You can also walk to Terminal 21, Times Square and Robinson Mall, which are popular shopping destinations in the area.

When you go down the elevated walkway from Asok station, there is a 7-Eleven that you may pass by for your needs (e.g. water, snacks or microwavable meals). From the convenience store, it is going to be roughly 300m until you reach Circle S, which is a tolerable walk. As you walk toward the accommodation, you will also pass by the rear end of Bangkok's Korea Town which is a small area housing several restaurants for Korean delicacies and cuisine.

Wonderful Interior and Amenities

One of the highlights of Circle S is its hotel-like interior and modern amenities. The apartment is well-furnished with two king-sized beds and all the necessary amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances such as electric stoves, microwave, coffee maker, and dining table. You can cook your own meals or enjoy eating out at the nearby restaurants. 

The room also has a nice view with a balcony (and drying rack, just in case you'll be using the washing machine) where you can relax and enjoy the cityscape. There is a good view of the neighborhood as well from the balcony which further gives it a homey vibe.

Aside from the kitchen, the apartment also has other amenities such as a refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning, iron, TV (with Netflix), towels, shampoo, body wash, shower cap, cotton bud, and hand soap. All of these amenities are included in the affordable rate, which gives you great value for your money. There were also free 4 small bottles of water which added to the convenience this place offers.

The bathroom is a major plus with a tub. Hence, if you feel all the Bangkok heat bugging you down, you can quench it off with a nice bath. Perhaps. the only issue that I had with this place is that there was no curtain (or the glass was not enough) to fend off the water from the shower, which may make the bathroom floor a bit messy. Other than that, everything else was perfect!



Other Amenities - Pool and Gym

Another wonderful thing about this place is the presence of more amenities inside the building. When you go to the top floor, you'll have access to the infinity pool, along with the indoor air-conditioned gym.



The roof deck has also some areas where you can just chill out, and perhaps meet with other fellow travelers. There are normally only a couple of people using the pool and/or gym. Hence, you get to have a semi-private feel.

Relative Affordability

One of the best things about Circle S is its affordability. For just P3,000+ per night (rate is as of April 2023), the place can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. This means that if you travel with 3 friends or family members, the rate per night will only be less than P1,000 each (including the cleaning fee). This is a great deal considering the prime location and modern amenities that Circle S has to offer. In fact, in my next travel in Bangkok, I might book here again. That's how much I adore this place right here.
