Astoria Current Hotel in Station 3, Boracay Island

Astoria Current is a fairly new hotel in Station 3 of Boracay Islands, Philippines. With its elegant minimalist appeal, you'll surely find this hotel eye-catching. On top of it all, the interior and the rooms has this playful positive vibe allowing you to get the best of your stay in Boracay.

For our four-day stay in Boracay, Astoria Current became our temporary home, and honestly our stay here in the hotel went beyond expectation. This is why after checking this article out, you'll somehow understand why it was difficult for us to leave the room despite the luscious waves of Boracay.

The beach-side facade of Astorica Current features this modern "boxy" structure with tones of yellow and blue. The presence of glass doors and windows allow the hotel to look very stunning from afar.

The Location
Astoria Current resides in Station 3 which is a relatively more serene part of Boracay. It's also where good restaurants are found. Hence, for those wanting to experience a relaxing beach-side vibe, Station 3 is very much suited for you. If not, well, you can just take a short walk to Station 2 where most of the parties and other shiz happen.

Restaurants near Astoria Current you can visit:

• Cowboy Cusina - a place for some grilled skewed meat and other western food
• Sunny Side Cafe - a place for all-day breakfast delights

The Hotel
Current's lobby is a paradise in itself where you can practically chill. Also, with its playful and positive theme, every corner of the hotel is certainly IG-worthy. The lobby is also very spacious which allows you to really have a sense of freedom and comfort just by being there.

Once you check-in, you'll be ushered in this area. You'll be served with some refreshing drink and a light snack. Just as this point, you'll already feel the warmth and joy of the place.

Afterwards, you can now go up the elevator, and witness the magnificence of  Astoria Current's structure, but this is even made more beautiful when the sun begins to set. It's one of the grandest things I've seen so far.

The Room
The room is stunning as it was able to retain the playful vibe in the lobby. It also has this right sophistication that does not intimidate. In fact, you'll feel the immense level of comfort as soon as you set foot in the room.

We availed two rooms for this trip. The other room featured a sofa bed, while the other featured a queen size bed and a twin bed.

When you step inside the bath room, the ambiance shifts from playful to elegantly classy. You have the choice to either sink into the tempting embrace of the bath tub, or shower away your tension. Regardless, it's very comforting in here!

Available amenities
Astoria Current features a Smart TV in its rooms which you can connect to the free wi-fi to watch Youtube or Netflix (in case you need to regain energy from all the activities). Guests also have free access to its gym facilities, and of course the elegant glass pool.

Breakfast buffet comes with your stay here in Astoria Current. The dining area is located near the pool area, which gives it a relaxing enjoyable ambiance.

With Astoria Current's magnificent structure and playful ambiance, we couldn't help but fall in love with the place. In fact, there was some point wherein we didn't feel like going out because we were enjoying the comfort of the room. Astoria Current indeed is a great home away from home.
